Thanks to its diverse qualities, the game of backgammon, whether it is played live or online, is more than just a fun way to pass time. Backgammon has therapeutic and educational values for children, adults and the elderly community. Backgammon rules are simple, but basic math and probability calculation are needed, as well as strategic planning and patience. The fact that these skills can be acquired along with social interaction and recreation makes the game especially attractive.
