Rating formula

The ratings are calculated according to the FIBS rating formula. The change in rating after a match depends on:

• the match result
• the match length
• the ratings of the players
• the experiences (sum of lengths of matches already played) of the players

Calculations can be checked via the following spreadsheet, in which the FIBS rating formula is implemented:
